Haomo.AI Secures RMB300 Million Funding to Advance Autonomous Driving Solutions in China
Haomo.AI, an autonomous driving company based in Beijing, has recently secured RMB300 million in its Series B2 funding round. The investment comes from a new fund established by JZ Capital, an existing investor, and the government of Changxing, Huzhou city, Zhejiang Province. The purpose of this funding is to support the company’s research and development efforts to maintain its leading position in the mass-produced autonomous driving solutions sector in China.
This funding round follows a previous successful raise of over RMB 100 million just two months ago, indicating a positive growth trajectory for Haomo.AI. Zhu Wei, deputy Party leader of the county, emphasized the significance of Haomo’s presence in enhancing the local automotive industrial chain in Changxing, known for its high-quality automakers.
Chairman Han Hualong of JZ Capital highlighted the importance of China’s intelligent vehicle sector in the country’s automotive evolution and praised Haomo’s expertise in mass-produced autonomous driving solutions. He expressed support for Haomo’s contributions to the development of Changxing’s intelligent vehicle sector.
Chairman Zhang Kai expressed gratitude for the support from both new and existing investors and outlined Haomo’s strategy to leverage cost-effective advanced driver assistance systems to remain competitive in the market. CEO Gu Weihao reiterated the company’s commitment to technological advancement, particularly in entering the data-driven autonomous driving era 3.0.
Haomo introduced three Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) kits in 2023, including the HP170, HP370, and HP570, tailored for various vehicle segments. These kits, priced between RMB 3,000 and RMB 8,900, have gained traction in the market, with over 20 vehicle models equipped with Haomo’s ADAS HPilot covering nearly 140 million kilometers in China.
