Xiaomi SU7 Modification Will Be Available on April 19th for 24 Hours
On April 14th, Xiaomi Car founder Lei Jun announced that starting from 9 a.m. on April 19th, a 24-hour limited-time modification service will be available. Users who have pre-ordered the non-founder’s edition can modify their orders through the Xiaomi Car App. If the modification is successful, production plans will be rearranged and estimated delivery times recalculated.
Xiaomi responded to the issue of “production capacity bottleneck” by stating that Xiaomi‘s car factory is currently working at full capacity to increase production, and fully mobilizing supply chain partners to ensure stable delivery of existing orders as soon as possible and orderly processing of future orders, in order to guarantee a smooth delivery experience for users.

At the Xiaomi SU7 delivery ceremony earlier this month, Lei Jun revealed that within a few days of its launch, over 100,000 people had placed pre-orders for the Xiaomi SU7, with locked-in orders exceeding 40,000.
Previously, it was reported by the media that Xiaomi‘s car division requested suppliers to increase production capacity to 10,000 vehicles per month. The version of the high-end model was specifically required to increase production capacity. According to the original production plan, it was expected that monthly production would exceed 3,000 vehicles in March this year and climb to 4,000-5,000 vehicles in April. Subsequently, monthly production capacity is expected to stabilize at around 6,000 vehicles by the end of the year. However, Xiaomi‘s car sales have exceeded expectations recently. If following the aforementioned production plan, delivery times for Xiaomi SU7 will only continue to be extended.
