Mi 10 Officially Launched Featuring Snapdragon 865
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi live-streamed an online launch event on February 13 to debut their flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi 10 comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and LPDDR5 memory.

On the Snapdragon 865 processor, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun said: “It is the strongest 5G flagship smartphone processor on the planet.” He also added that its AI performance is 30% better than that of its competitor, likely implying domestic smartphone rival Huawei. The phone is also equipped with Micron Technology’s LPDDR5 memory, providing a significant upgrade in speed.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED curved screen with a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a contrast ratio of 5 million to 1. Its 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz sampling rate provide a robust gaming experience.
In terms of battery life, the Xiaomi Mi 10 is equipped with a 4780mAh battery, compared to 4500mAh of Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, and 3969mAh of iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 supports 30W wired flash charge, 30W wireless flash charge, and 10W wireless reverse charge.
For photography the device features a 100-megapixel quad camera system with a 20-megapixel front lens. The cameras support 8K video recording and optical image stabilization.
As for pricing, its 8 + 128GB version is priced at 3999 yuan ($572); 8 + 256GB is 4299 yuan, and the most expensive 12 + 256GB version is priced at 4699 yuan. Official sales will start from 10am on February 14, and a 12-month interest-free installment loan program is available.
