OPPO Reno 12 Teaser: The First Android Phone that Can Release Live Photos
Earlier, there were leaks that the new OPPO phone will support Live Photo feature, which can rival iPhone. On May 20th, the OPPO Reno 12 series officially announced this feature, claiming to be ‘the first Android phone capable of releasing live photos’.
According to the official preheating information, photos taken by OPPO Reno 12 can not only be displayed on the device itself but also uploaded to the social platform Xiaohongshu. In the past, Android phones only supported taking live photos but could not publish them on social platforms for sharing. The OPPO Reno 12 series is the first in the Android industry to support publishing live photos and supports beautifying and editing live photos.
Currently, the appearance of the OPPO Reno 12 series has been announced. The standard version offers three color options: Millennium Silver, Soft Peach, and Ebony Black; while the Pro version offers Silver Phantom Purple, Champagne Gold, and Ebony Black colors. The front of this phone is equipped with a “four-curved soft edge straight screen,” claiming to bring “curved screen feel straight screen touch.
In addition, the standard version of OPPO Reno 12 will be equipped with the Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition chip, while the Pro version will be equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition chip. The OPPO Reno 12 series will be released on May 23 at 16:00 (at Beijing time).
