The 2024 model of XPeng P5 has undergone an upgrade in terms of its appearance and aesthetics. It continues the current model’s gradual disappearance of curves and low wind resistance design concept, reshaping the front and rear bumpers as well as side skirts to make the overall body more slender and streamlined. Two new body colors have been added: Interstellar Green and New Moon Silver, along with a new interior color called Airy Gray.
The car adopts a low surface difference design at the corners of the front and rear bumpers, as well as the front grille, with smooth transitions. This allows for smoother separation of airflow and, together with the active front grille, optimizes aerodynamic resistance for the 2024 XPeng P5 model to achieve a drag coefficient as low as 0.218Cd.
Furthermore, after incorporating feedback from over tens of thousands of users, XPeng Motors has conducted extensive optimizations on the 2024 model of XPeng P5: significantly reducing SKU options and retaining functionalities that are frequently used by users in specific scenarios, while optimizing and removing functionalities for less frequent usage scenarios.
