Smart #1 BRABUS Performance Edition to Be Released on August 26
On August 15, Smart, a new energy vehicle brand jointly established by Mercedes-Benz and Geely, released many pictures of the new Smart #1 BRABUS Performance Edition. The car will be unveiled at the 25th Chengdu Motor Show on August 26.
Compared with the previously model Smart #1, the BRABUS Performance Edition is more sporty in appearance and features a BRABUS kit. The car adopts two-tone color design, and adopts a bright red color that matches with the roof and exterior rearview mirror. In addition, the car has a 19-inch rotor dynamic rim and red-tinted calipers.
As for the interior design, the Smart #1 BRABUS Performance Edition features an exclusive BRABUS black color scheme and red stitching on the seats and steering wheel, which highlights the sporty appeal of the car. At the bottom of the steering wheel and seat headrests, the vehicle carries the BRABUS branding. In addition, the steering wheel of the Smart #1 BRABUS Performance Edition is wrapped in Alcantara and leather, and comes with metal pedals.
In terms of power, the Smart #1 BRABUS Performance Edition comes with a front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive system. The maximum power of the front and rear motors is 115/200kW respectively and the vehicle can accelerate to 100 km in 3.7 seconds. The car is bundled with customized analog sound, an aggressive electronic control system and a drift mode.

Where the sun visors are traditionally installed on cars, the Smart #1 BARBUS Performance Edition has a soft semi-visible sun visor. This design effectively blocks out harsh light while opening up the driver’s view, at least according to official sources. The price of the version has not yet been disclosed, but it will be sold in limited quantities.
