On January 15th, it was reported that a person close to CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd.) stated that the construction of CATL’s Beijing factory has commenced.

The Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform issued an announcement on January 11, which included the heavyweight news of planning to start construction on the CATL Beijing factory project this year.

As of now, CATL has established a total of 11 production bases in China, located in Fujian, Jiangsu, Qinghai, Sichuan, and other regions. Additionally, they also have two major production bases in Hungary and Germany.
