Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Officially Released
On July 19, Xiaomi officially launched the most powerful version of the Xiaomi SU7 — the SU7 Ultra prototype.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype is equipped with the Xiaomi V8s super motor, with 27200rpm, 0-100km/h acceleration in 1.97 seconds, 0-200km/h acceleration in 5.96 seconds, 0-300km/h acceleration in 15.07 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 350km/h. Regarding endurance, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype is the world’s first to use the Ningde Era Kirin II battery: 1330kW super large discharge power, 20% discharge power still has 800kW, peak voltage of 897V, and a charge rate of 5.2C.
To achieve faster speeds, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype adopts an “all-carbon” design. A total of 24 parts covering 15m2 of the car have been replaced with carbon fiber material, reducing the overall weight of the car to 1900kg, making it even lighter than some mass-produced petrol cars of the same size. Additionally, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype has also restructured its aerodynamic design to achieve “ground flight”. It has a fixed racing large tail wing, an oversized tail diffuser, and other racing configurations, with a maximum downforce of 2145kg, greater than the weight of the car.
At the press conference, Lei Jun said that the goal of Xiaomi cars is to become one of the top five car companies in the world within 15 to 20 years. The world’s top car factories are competing with each other at the Nürburgring North Loop in Germany, and for Xiaomi and Lei Jun, the Nürburgring is the inevitable path to becoming a global TOP 5. In October, Xiaomi set its goal to become the fastest four-door electric car on the Nürburgring North Loop.
