SHEIN Sets Up Supply Chain HQ in Guangzhou with 3.69 Billion Yuan Investment

On August 14th, it was announced by the Guangzhou City Planning and Natural Resources Bureau that SHEIN, a leading international B2C fast fashion e-commerce company, has received permits for its Supply Chain Headquarters project in Zengcheng District, China. SHEIN, recognized as the largest cross-border e-commerce company in China and the fifth largest unicorn company globally, is renowned for its women’s clothing but also offers a diverse range of fashion products, including men’s and children’s clothing, accessories, shoes, and bags.

The bureau’s official statement revealed that the project, located in the Guangzhou East Public Rail Transport Hub in Zhongxin Town, Zengcheng District, has been granted all 25 construction project planning permits. With this approval, SHEIN Group has plans to establish an intelligent warehousing logistics distribution park that will integrate various functions such as warehousing, stockpiling, picking, distribution, delivery, and settlement. This supply chain center is envisioned to be a core support for SHEIN’s global sales.

The first phase of the project spans 738 acres, promising a minimum construction area of 800,000 square meters and a total investment of 3.69 billion yuan. In addition, it was reported earlier that SHEIN had confidentially submitted IPO documents to the UK market regulator in June, estimating the company’s valuation at approximately 50 billion pounds.
